Cley Engagement Officer
Location: Cley/Hybrid
Contract: 6-months
Hours: 21 hours per week
Salary: £23,442 – £25,000 pro rata
NWT is seeking an Engagement Officer to support the delivery of an amazing events programme at
our award-winning visitor centre at Cley. Experienced at building relationships, you will be a
confident communicator with a natural passion for nature conservation. Well organised with
experience of working alongside volunteers you will be confident in supporting all aspects of a
varied events programme.
About the Role
This is a varied role that will require some evening and weekend working, responsibilities
include:
- Planning and organising a varied programme of walks, talks, workshops and performance to
appeal to and engage a wide demographic of visitor. - Providing a point of contact for internal and external leaders of the programmed events
- Promoting and marketing the programme to enable it to reach a wide audience
- Providing on the day support to event leaders
- Working with the Engagement and Cley Visitor Centre teams to ensure the programme meets the
strategic aims of the organisation.
You will be based at our visitor centre at Cley, with scope for hybrid working. This role
requires some evening and weekend working so a flexible approach is a necessity.
The successful candidate should be able to commence employment as soon as possible after an
offer of employment is made.
The closing date for receipt of applications is midnight on Sunday 30th
June. Interviews are likely to take place the following week at our visitor centre at
Cley.
