We provide our students with opportunities to build their professional networks through working alongside skilled professionals, mentors, and other students.Plains’ engineering internship opportunities have been specifically designed to provide students the opportunity to apply their academic studies and gain valuable experience through meaningful and challenging work.Responsibilities:Develop an understanding of processes and overall function of assigned Engineering group;Achieve and complete assigned tasks as outlined at the beginning of the work term;Develop understanding and contribute to systems such as excel, PowerBI dashboards, Maximo, SAP, GIS software, etc.Complete and present an assigned project;Attend internal/external meetings, where applicable; andAssist in various ad hoc requests as required.Qualifications:Must have completed at least one year of undergraduate studies;Interns must be able to commit to a 16-month work term starting May 5, 2025;Interns must be pursuing a Bachelors of Engineering degree;Previous work terms are considered an asset;Both formal and non-formal co-op students are eligible to apply;Interns must be able and willing to relocate themselves to Calgary for the duration of work term;Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while demonstrating strong analytical and organizational skills;Proven flexibility and the ability to adapt to changing business conditions;Excellent computer and communication skills; andThe successful candidate must provide satisfactory references and complete a Criminal Background Check.Please indicate clearly on your cover letter if you are available for a 16-month term May 5, 2025.Documents required with your application:Cover letterResumeCopy of your unofficial transcript (you must include this to be considered)Interested candidates are encouraged to submit their application through our company website (note you will not be considered if you apply through your university’s job board).
