The centre is explicitly interdisciplinary, by combining electrical engineering, computer science, signal processing and neuroscience. The Centre focus is on developing Neuromorphic Engineering solutions to existing problems. The Engineering Projects Team Leader is responsible for the coordination and management of ICNS Technical Support Staff and ensuring that support of ICNS research activities is at a high standard and that research project milestones are met.Furthermore, this role will provide engineering support and advice to researchers, students, and professional staff which includes leading practice in the design, implementation, and testing of electronic hardware, the support of novel software driven electronic devices, experimental control systems, data acquisition systems, and general electronics support.This is a full-time, ongoing position based at the Penrith’s Werrington South campus, however as WSU is a multi-campus university travel to other campuses may be required when operational needs arise.Please review the position description for further information.About YouThe successful applicant will have an undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering and/or an equivalent combination of relevant experience in industry and education/training. You will have a proven track record in engineering project management as well as experience leading, managing and coordinating a technical support team. Remuneration Package: HEW Level 7 $117,645 to $126,892 p.a.
