The Role
As an English Academic Coach, you will be responsible for providing effective 1-2-1 and small group support to under-achieving secondary-school pupils as a means of improving progress levels and grades. You will assess classwork and monitor individual students’ progress to highlight additional learning needs and will use your initiative to formulate appropriate support strategies. Strong bonds will be built between yourself and students to ensure that 1:1 support is as successful as possible, as well as good relationships that will be fostered with teaching staff to create a positive learning environment.The School
