Pay Rate: £155 – £220 per day

Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long-term | Full-time / Part-timeAre you a passionate and creative English Teacher ready to inspire students through literature, language, and communication?GSL Education are seeking a dedicated English Teacher to join schools in the Tickhill (DN11) area immediately. This role provides the opportunity to deliver engaging lessons, develop pupils’ reading, writing, and analytical skills, and foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.Responsibilities as an English Teacher:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons in line with the national curriculum.
• Inspire pupils to develop literacy, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Support pupils’ academic, social, and personal development.
• Maintain high standards of classroom management and pupil behaviour.
• Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school leadership to enhance learning outcomes.

Requirements for English Teacher:

• UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of English curriculum, literature, and language instruction.
• Excellent classroom management, organisational, and communication skills.
• Creativity, enthusiasm, and the ability to engage and inspire students.
• An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
• A CV covering the last 10 years of employment history, with any gaps explained.
