As an English Teacher, you’ll have the exciting opportunity to inspire students across key stages with a passion for reading, writing, and analysis. Your role will be essential in guiding students towards achieving academic success and developing a deep appreciation for the English language.Key Responsibilities:

• Craft Engaging Lessons: Deliver dynamic and creative English lessons that captivate students and bring literature and language to life.
• Foster a Love for Learning: Create an inclusive classroom atmosphere where every student feels encouraged to express themselves and engage with the subject.
• Personalise Teaching: Adapt your teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of your students, ensuring everyone can thrive and achieve their potential.
• Support and Assess: Regularly assess student progress and provide meaningful feedback to help them grow and improve.
• Enrich the Curriculum: Play a key role in shaping the English curriculum, integrating innovative resources and fostering a love for both classic and contemporary texts.
• Collaborate and Innovate: Work closely with colleagues to share best practices, create cross-curricular links, and continuously improve teaching and learning across the school.
• Beyond the Classroom: Participate in extra-curricular activities and school events that enrich students’ educational experiences and help them develop skills beyond academics.

Requirements:

• A degree in English or a related subject.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for English literature and language.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
• A commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive school community.
