Salary: £158-£180 per dayAbout the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and dynamic English Teacher to join our school in Cardiff. This is an exciting opportunity for a teacher dedicated to inspiring students through literature and language, helping them develop strong communication skills and a love for reading and writing. The successful candidate will deliver engaging English lessons aligned with the Curriculum for Wales, fostering creativity, critical thinking, and proficiency in English across all key stages.Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality English lessons to students at Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Foster a love for literature, writing, and language, encouraging creativity and critical analysis.
• Assess, track, and report on students’ progress, providing tailored support to meet individual learning needs.
• Contribute to the school community by supporting English-related events, competitions, and extracurricular activities.
• Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that engages students and promotes their personal and academic growth.

About You:
We are looking for a qualified English Teacher with a deep understanding of the Curriculum for Wales and a passion for engaging students in the study of English. Ideal candidates will have the ability to inspire students at all levels and encourage both creative and analytical thinking.Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, specializing in English.
• Proven experience teaching English, ideally within a secondary school setting.
• Strong knowledge of the Curriculum for Wales and relevant assessment frameworks.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to inspire students to pursue and enjoy English.
• A commitment to fostering creativity, critical thinking, and strong literacy skills within the school community.
