Job descriptionEnglish teacher – Stockport – February startA dedicated and passionate English Teacher is required to work at a popular secondary school near Stockport, to join them on a full-time basis, teaching key stage 3 & 4 classes. The role will start after the February half term and will continue on an ongoing basis until then end of the academic year in July.This position is five days a week, full time, and is open to ECTs as well as experienced English teachers.You will be required to become fully involved within the department & school, like a permanent member of staff, and attend departmental meetings when required, and be available for parents’ evenings as well as planning and delivering captivating, high standard lessons that will stretch the pupils in their learning. In a department with well sequenced learning, with clear links to their learning. You will also be required to mark the work and provide feedback along the way.The school is a great opportunity for anyone wanting to work at a recently rated Good school.
