Location: Southampton
Pay Rate: £30,000 – £46535 per annum (Depending on experience)
Start Date: January 2025/ Easter

As a Teacher of English, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality English education and inspiring students to develop a love for literature and language. You will work alongside a team of dedicated professionals to create engaging and effective lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a significant impact in a school that values both educational excellence and student well-being.Key Responsibilities of English Teacher:

• Plan and deliver engaging English lessons that cater to the diverse needs and abilities of students, ensuring all students are motivated and challenged.
• Teach a range of subjects to students aged 11-16.
• Organize and supervise extracurricular English activities and events, fostering a sense of curiosity and enthusiasm for the subject.
• Monitor and assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and adapt teaching strategies to meet individual needs.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external partners to enhance the English curriculum and support student development.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and encouraged to participate.
• Promote health and safety in all activities, ensuring students understand the importance of safe practices.

Requirements of English Teacher:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience in teaching English is essential.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues.
• The ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their best in English.
• Commitment to promoting a love for literature and a curiosity about the world of language.
• Relevant qualifications or training in English education (desirable but not essential).
