We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated English Teacher to join a welcoming and inclusive school. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and inspiring English lessons to students across KS3 and KS4, fostering a love for literature and language while ensuring academic progress. This role begins September 2025.Duties as an English Teacher:Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons in line with the National Curriculum.Inspire and engage students in reading, writing, and critical analysis.Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners.Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management.Contribute to the wider school community, including extracurricular activities.Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the English department.Ensure the safeguarding and well-being of all pupils.Ideal English Teacher:Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree.Experience teaching English at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable).Strong subject knowledge and a passion for English literature and language.Excellent communication and classroom management skills as an English Teacher.A commitment to student progress and achievement.A valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).Why Step Teachers?With a rich history spanning over two decades, our teacher recruitment agency proudly serves North London, East London, Hertfordshire, Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire, Oxfordshire, Cornwall, and Devon.
