We are seeking a dedicated English Teacher to deliver GCSE English at a small SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) school in Basingstoke. The school has a strong track record of success, with 95% or higher pass rates in recent years, and is looking for a committed teacher to help maintain these high standards.Role Overview:

• Class Size: Maximum of 8 pupils per class
• School Size: Fewer than 80 students on site

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality GCSE English lessons, ensuring all students are on track to achieve a pass grade in Year 11
• Adapt lessons to meet the needs of SEMH pupils, providing differentiated learning and support as required
• Manage behaviour effectively, creating a safe and supportive classroom environment for students with additional needs
• Work collaboratively with the school’s small, close-knit community to foster strong relationships with both pupils and staff
• Contribute to the ongoing success of the school, which has an excellent reputation locally and with Hampshire County Council

What We Are Looking For:

• Qualified English Teacher with experience delivering GCSE English
• Previous experience working with SEMH pupils or students who present challenging behaviour
