Description of the Assignment:
This assignment will engage an Environmental Policy Specialist to lead Jamaica’s Policy and Institutional Review under the GEF8 programme for developing the country’s first National Biodiversity Finance Plan. The specialist will assess biodiversity-related policies, legal and institutional frameworks, financing mechanisms, and positive and negative incentives, while supporting stakeholder consultations and providing inputs to the Biodiversity Expenditure Review and Finance Plan.
Period of assignment/services (if applicable):
The consultancy will require 75 non-consecutive working days over five months
