Reporting to the Product and Service Sales Manager, the Equipment Sales Representative – General Line will be at the forefront of our equipment sales and rentals, offering innovative solutions to our valued customers. You’ll play a key role in identifying new markets and opportunities for both new and used Caterpillar equipment.Job Description:Why This Role is Exciting:Provide cutting-edge solutions to meet customer needs.Identify and tap into new markets and opportunities.Develop and nurture strong, positive relationships with customers.Use your expertise to support customers’ business growth through a consultative approach.Key Responsibilities:Sell equipment, products, and services to end users in a defined market.Achieve targets for revenue growth and profitability.Maintain long-term relationships with customers, Caterpillar, and internal teams.Understand customers’ economic models and develop timely deal strategies.Keep accurate and current client information using Finning’s Sales Support software.Provide the best solutions, including marketing all products.Address customer product concerns and warranty issues.Forecast new equipment sales and achieve budget revenue targets.Represent the company ethically and professionally.Qualifications:Minimum 3+ years of experience with products and services related to the General Construction industry.Previous sales and industry experience is a plus.Strong understanding of support systems, credit, and financing.Commitment to safety procedures.Resolve customer product concerns and account disputes.Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.Experience with customer relationship management tools.Proven track record of customer coverage in a large geographic area.Proficient in MS Office.If you have a knack for developing long-term strategic customer relationships and possess solid business development skills, we want to hear from you!
