You will work directly with experienced senior traders and analysts to help them identify risks and opportunities in equities markets that help deliver sustainable short and long-term success.The Equity Analyst will work closely with trading teams to create and manage research that is relevant, accurate and available for teams to access and discuss as required.What you’ll be involved in:
- Undertaking company and industry research to build an understanding of relevant catalysts affecting our symbol coverage and model the likely outcomes
- Working with traders to adjust inputs to our options pricing models based on market developments and structure trades
- Building an understanding of how traders consume information in real time and learn to attach the correct level of urgency with the delivery of messages of differing degrees of importance
- Finding new ways to improve current processes and develop creative solutions that are grounded in reality and have practical value
- Building & maintaining datasets to analyse company trends
- Building & maintaining models to generate projections for company financials
What we need from you:
- Familiarity with a broad range of single stock and wider market developments, as well as the ability to identify and discuss relevant research with traders
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to manage relationships with internal clients while communicating what is relevant and important in a clear and concise manner
- A genuine interest in equities markets and options trading with a desire to broaden skills and knowledge
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent academic qualification
- Experience within the Brazil Equity market is advantageous but not a prerequisite
