Job Overview:
The ESOL Instructor is responsible for providing integrated English language instruction for non-native English speakers. The instructor must be able to successfully develop and tailor curriculum and materials to the needs of students enrolled into the program including the support of student recruitment, registration, attendance tracking, retention, progress, and assessment.
This is a full-time non-exempt 37.5 hours per week position, reporting to the Adult Education Instructional Supervisor. Currently the class is scheduled to meet in person Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday 10am-12pm and 6-8pm. Mondays are orientation and registration days for new students and are rolling throughout the year. Classes and registration are held off site in Gwinnett County.
