Reports to: Farm and Estate Manager
Salary: £28,000 – £30,500 (depending on experience)
Contract: Permanent Full Time
Hours: 37.5 hours per week with a requirement for occasional weekend and
evening work (Mon – Sun)
Based at: Blakehill Farm Nature Reserve in North Wiltshire, with daily travel
to sites within central and north Wiltshire and Swindon, occasional travel to sites in south
Wiltshire
As an Estate Officer you will lead in the management and maintenance of our outstanding nature
reserves. This role will be based in north Wiltshire and you will work over a diverse range of
very special sites, from SSSI ancient woodlands and floodplain meadows to urban nature parks.

really make a difference, then we would like to hear from you.
This role will work closely with other members of the Farm and Estate and Conservation Team to
deliver an active and diverse work programme, using your own practical skills, in addition to
engaging, recruiting and supervising contractors and volunteers. The work will vary by season
and habitat and you will have projects that you will be able to see through from concept to
completion.
There will be opportunities to support the farm staff, learning new skills in livestock
handling and conservation grazing. You will also work closely with the Conservation Team who
will be carrying out ecological surveying and monitoring to inform and direct your work.
