$80-$90K + Profit Sharing + Excellent BenefitsCome join a well-established dynamic building materials company whose ethos is based on providing great customer service and differentiating themselves by exceeding the expectations of their clients.They provide products and services to the residential, commercial, institutional and agricultural building markets.The Estimator, under the direction of the Director of Sales, will work closely with their client customer base, focusing on providing a positive customer experience. The Estimator will provide accurate information and quotations to customers and act as resource for both internal customers and external customers.Responsibilities:

• Provide pricing to the customer on purchased items, stock items, and custom orders in a timely manner;
• Review quotations to ensure accuracy prior to sending the information to the customer;
• Review job specifications carefully to ensure the correct building materials are being used for the job;
• Assist the customer in understanding loading tables;
• Provide product knowledge to both internal and external customers;
• Assist the customer in determining quantities and types of materials needed for a project (take-offs);
• Provide one-on-one customer support and problem resolution via telephone, e-mail, and other vehicles of communication;
• Proactively attend to customer complaints in a professional manner;
• Use the ERP system to enter sales orders, blanket orders, determine on-hand inventory, look up relevant information, and maintain quotes and purchase orders;
• Research customer requests and determine whether we can manufacture the required product;
• Source alternative materials when required;
• Liaise with production staff, suppliers, logistics and purchasing;
• Support the outside salespeople by developing a pricing strategy;
• Maintain a high level of customer service;
• Maintain a high level of product and service knowledge;
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years related Building Envelope estimating experience ideally from a manufacturing or construction environment
• Ability to work individually as well as part of a team
• Ability to respond quickly in a dynamic and changing environment
• Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
