ODI Europe is an International Non-Profit Association (INPA) based in Brussels. Our objective is to inspire Europe to continue to act on injustice and inequality through the collaborative research and ideas generated by our parent charity ODI, the leading global affairs think tank.

About the role

To increase the impact of ODI’s portfolio of work to inform European external policies and new forms of regional and global cooperation. This pivotal role is expected to provide analysis of policy debates, undertake responsive pieces of short research and analysis, build relationships and lead public affairs work among key relevant stakeholders.

This role will stand at the intersection of ODI Europe’s analytical work and its public-facing engagement. The holder of the role will be expected to help teams think through how key strategic initiatives can have genuine policy impact.

About you

The European Policy analyst role would suit candidates that have experience of working on European policy, research and analysis. You will have a keen interest in key themes such as development cooperation, inequality, technology, climate, migration, trade, or conflict and a demonstrable ability to stay abreast of the news agenda around relevant topics.

We welcome candidates with strong political awareness, interpersonal skills and judgement. You will also have excellent organisation and communication abilities, and be a strong team player.
