Job Description:Grade UE05: £27,979 – £32,332 per annumCollege of Science and Engineering/The Bayes CentreFull-time: 35 hours per weekFixed-term: 26/08/2024 – 24/08/2029We are looking for an organised, proactive and efficient Events Administrator to join the Events team at the Bayes Centre.The Opportunity:The Bayes Centre is the University of Edinburgh’s innovation hub for Data Science and Artificial Intelligence and this broad remit encompasses activities that include education, research, business and investor relationships. You will need to comfortable and effective working as part of a team and independently. This is a busy environment, perfect for those who enjoy a role where you’ll be entrusted with multiple tasks and where every day will be different.The Bayes Centre is a multi-occupancy building with around 650 academic, research, industry and professional services staff, from across the institution and representing lease paying commercial partners. We support the wider contribution to the University’s Data Driven Innovation Programme.The Events Administrator (CHAI Hub) will provide specialist events support to the AI Hub for the development of new AI technologies and the application to health; CHAI-EPSRC AI Hub for causality in healthcare AI with real data (CHAI). The post-holder will work in collaboration with the Hub Manager and the Bayes Centre Operations team to support the coordination and delivery of the AI Hubs events programme.Your skills and attributes for success:
