Job Summary: 

The Experienced Product Sales Agent is part of the Product Sales & Services (PSS) Department and delivers outstanding guest service while facilitating the sale of Summer Activities, Lift Tickets, Season Passes, and Ski & Snowboard School lessons. As a PSS Sales Agent, you are part of the guest experience and the face of Vail Resorts! We are looking for guest experience-focused individuals who are positive, and outgoing, operate with a high level of computer proficiency, have a passion for the outdoors, while well-disciplined, and take pride in their work 

Job Specifications:

  • Outlet: Mountain Information Product Sales & Call Center Agent
  • Expected Pay Range: $22.00 – $23.76 / hour
  • Shift & Schedule Availability: Full Time, Weekends and Holidays
  • Skill Level: Entry
  • Other Specifics:
  • In this position, you will work 3-4 days per week in the call center and 1-2 days per week in one of our sales offices.
  • Candidates must be comfortable working outside in winter conditions as our team also assists the Ticket Sales and Scanning teams with online order fulfillment and ticket scanning as needed and will be scheduled outside.
  • Most shifts are 7:40am-5:15pm, with 1 half day per week
  • We are open seven days per week, including holidays
  • Our call center does not have any windows
  • Our call center and sales offices can be very popular, so you must be okay working in fast-paced environments
  • We have start dates in September, October, November, and December (and throughout the rest of the season) and the manager will reach out with exact dates
  • We typically open for the ski season in early-mid November, at which point we will be open seven days per week. Before we open for the season, you will work only in the call center and we will be open only Monday-Friday.

Job Requirements: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Excellent communication skills and problem-solving ability.
  • The ability to work effectively with dynamic and constantly changing information.
  • Good knowledge of computer systems, Word, Excel and Outlook preferred
  • Broad experience in various aspects of customer service preferred
  • Team player, enthusiastic, positive attitude.
  • Keen to learn new skills, and open-minded.
  • Able to work outside in a winter environment.

The expected pay range is $22.00 – $23.76. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
