The outcome of this consultancy will be the successful completion of the work by ERDCN, delivering a full report on the state of the art of the complex interrelation among debt, climate and nature. He/she will also work in the dissemination of the Final Report findings and recommendations among all stakeholders.

Duties and Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the Senior Economic Affairs Officer, the consultant will have the following duties: – To coordinate the joint work of the Technical Secretariat (TS). – To coordinate the substantive research in support of the expert group. – To coordinate the TS logistics. – To review the TS member institutions contributions and coordinate the relevant discussions among them. – To lead on drafting the report jointly and on behalf of the TS. – To disseminate the Final Report findings and recommendations among all stakeholders. – To represent the TS when required.
Qualifications/special skills
The consultant must be a professional in economics, finance and with master studies in economics, environmental economics, and / or public finance. The consultant must present evidence of at least eighteen (18 years of professional experience leading roles in macroeconomics, public finance, climate change, nature, sustainable development, and debt.
Languages
English and French are the working languages of the UN Secretariat. For this position fluent English is required. knowledge of any other UN official languages is an advantage.
