We’re uniting science, technology and talent to get ahead of disease together.The Expert Scientist will contribute to the conception, design, implementation of experimental design, data generation and interpretation required for assay development, and assay qualification. This role can also contribute to the design of assay validation and contribute to clinical assays for Ph 1 / 2 studies.Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the conception and implementation of the experimental design, generation of labdata and the interpretation of analytical data in collaboration with the designated statisticians.
  • Provide scientific and technical support for:
  • Internal activities related to assay development and qualification, assay maintenance, monitoring and troubleshooting of assay issues and risks.
  • External laboratories for assay quality during development, qualification, & clinical testing supporting phases ½.
  • Ensure assay history files are properly maintained and assay analytical plans, raw data and statistical reports are stored in sustainable systems and tools.
  • Contribute to the improvement of assay quality and facilitate implementation of new

Technologies.

  • Provide technical support to projects and to the cost effectiveness of Vx-Clin Lab & Assay Portfolio.
  • Contribute to the development of expertise, the implementation of improvements in

clinical laboratory processes, of state-of-the-art or innovative solutions in assay technology within the operational platform while giving special attention to assay quality and testing performance.

  • Ensure all activities under your responsibility are performed in compliance with Quality Assurance (QA) guidelines. Relevant regulations, and internal policies.
  • Can represent the Assay Development & Innovation group at technical project team level, participate in internal/external scientific collaboration and report data in internal/external meetings.

Basic Qualifications:

  • MS in Biology, Microbiology, Immunology, or related field with four or more years of industry experience.
  • PhD in Biology, Microbiology, Immunology, or related field with two or more years of industry experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of developing ELISA based assays from scratch
  • Developed Assays for vaccine programs using Luminex and MSD platform
  • Have knowledge of dealing Cros and external partners
  • Previously handled human/clinical samples extensively
  • Have extensive knowledge of Biostatistics and efficient in using different statistical software
  • Must be good in communications and team player
