With 111 newly renovated guest rooms and a 3000 sq. foot lounge, Fairmont Gold offers the highest level of guest service.Starting Rate: $23.67 per hourWe recognize tenure through our compensation. Hourly rates increase after six months, and yearly to three years. At three years the pay rate for this role would be $28.08Job Duties Include:

  • Demonstrate a commitment to provide warm, anticipated service to exceed the needs and expectations of our discerning guests by providing a personalized curated guest experience.
  • Must be able to perform all front desk duties including but not limited to accurately post all charges, assist with check in/out procedures, auditing and reporting.
  • Review all Fairmont Gold reservations ensuring accuracy, and that all standards are met.
  • Provide exceptional concierge information to our guests about local and area attractions, restaurants, theatres, special events, tickets, and other available services/excursions
  • Must be available for shift work including weekends, mornings, and evenings.
  • Ensure the arrival and departure experience of all guests is seamless through coordination of our market mix and VIP’s
  • Empower colleagues to appease any guest service challenges and ensure all guest issues are tracked and followed up on to ensure service recovery
  • Other duties as assigned

QualificationsYour Skills & Qualifications:Minimum 1 years previous Front Desk supervisory experience in a Large Hotel preferredAbility to work well under pressure in a fast paced environmentExcellent knowledge of Micros-Opera PROPERTY Manager, word and excelPrevious working experience in Royal Service and or dealing with guest recovery with excellent recoveryStrong interpersonal and problem solving abilitiesGraduate of Hotel Management or Hospitality program an assetHighly organized, innovative and results-orientated with the ability to be flexible and work well under pressure in a fast paced, changing environmentExcellent written and verbal skills is requiredSolutions-orientated, strong interpersonal skills and problem solving techniquesAbility to work cohesively as part of a team and focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all timesConstant sitting, standing and walking throughout shiftOn occasion must be physically able to lift guest luggage and assist to guest roomCandidates must be legal to serve alcohol in Alberta (18 years of age) and must possess ProServe certificationAdditional InformationJob Perks & Benefits:
