Responsibilities:

  • Enforce the policies and procedures as they relate to Health & Safety as measured by the districts health and safety record;
  • Work closely with the senior management from Health and Safety and Site Services in resolving issues in an appropriate and timely manner;
  • Responsible for H&S issues surrounding projects assigned, including reviewing of operational procedures to assure correct H&S action plans and communicates effectively with the H&S organization regarding onsite specific action;
  • Ensure employees are compliant with OSHA and workers compensation regulations;
  • Assist the General Manager in implementing H&S meetings, reviewing H&S plans and daily safety sheets, and ensuring H&S rules/regulations are followed;
  • Enforce and ensure OSHA, EPA and H&S standards or regulations are complaint and responsible for the timely reporting of work-related accidents or incidents to immediate supervisor
  • Work with Regional Finance Manager to achieve billed and unbilled revenue goals; Approve reconciliation of non-purchase order related expenditures.
  • Meet with customers as needed to ensure customer satisfaction and to resolve any pending complaints or issues.
  • Participate in joint calls with Account Managers or Specialists as needed and maintain a professional image when dealing with customers; Work with all agents of business and management to drive and grow Site Service sales.
  • Manage each business unit for worksheet quality, payroll reconciliation, minimal shop time, management of materials and supplies, resource utilization, timely scanning and billing, Specialist and FSR Beacon usage; Oversee projects for Health and Safety, profitability, completeness and professionalism.
  • Ensure proper communication to ensure contractual obligations are met to complete services, project progression status and change orders are completed and executed prior to any additional work being performed
  • Responsible for bid development and scoping of field service projects; Develop new business, maintain existing customer relationships, and provide technical assistance to customers as follow up; Manage changes and/or modifications of field service projects with the Field Service specialist personnel.
  • Maintain proper working order and maintenance for assigned company equipment and vehicles; Maintain proper inventory of equipment and supplies for current workload, and proper working order and maintenance for assigned company equipment and vehicles.
  • Work with FS coordinator and specialists’ personnel in the scheduling, assigning of manpower equipment, and resources needed for the next day.
  • Responsible for the inspection of the Service Center property on a daily basis to ensure the facility is clean and in compliance with federal, state or local laws, including “best in class” inspections.
  • Responsible for the supervision, training and mentoring of assigned field personnel, drivers, supervision, equipment operators, coordinators and specialists; Assists senior management in writing and conducting employee performance appraisals, implementing and maintaining career paths, mentoring, and on the job training; Recommend merit increases, promotions, and terminations of field service personnel
  • Respond immediately when on-call or secure proper coverage and communicate replacement name to supervisor/manager; Act as the on-call coordinator.

  • Ability to understand issues and resolve/address strategically.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Knowledge of scoping and pricing Field Service work
  • Knowledge of Federal, state and local environmental regulations as well as Clean Harbors policies and procedures related to field operations
  • Knowledge of various types of equipment
  • Proficient in Windows based applications
  • Understanding of Corporate Safety & Compliance Policies
  • Experience in environmental operations
