You will have the opportunity to be part of a close-knit and innovative team that works with cutting edge technology including machine learning, edge computing and data fusion.GENERAL DESCRIPTIONWe are looking for an experienced Field Operation Project Manager to lead the management of tasks, activities, concerns and support, from initial planning and coordination to installation; to ensure maximum customer satisfaction.The ideal candidate is highly motivated and has a can-do attitude and the technical aptitude to discuss a broad range of topics related to technical project management.This customer facing role will be responsible for ensuring execution goes to plan and maintaining strategic customer relationships in a fast paced and high-growth environment.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assisting in defining the project SOW and support pre-sale/post-sale project deployments.
- Developing and maintaining project schedules with an emphasis on the identification of dependencies, critical path items and the anticipation of cost and operational risks. Building contingency plans for “what if” scenarios.
- Coordinating technical and field support, when needed, with oversight and follow through to ensure issues are resolved according to company quality of service metrics.
- Acting as main liaison between the customer and various functional groups e.g. Engineers, Supply Chain, Suppliers, Management, etc.
- Able to analyze project costs, breakdown cost overruns and determine plans to reduce future and recurring costs.
- Able to deliver a project on time, on cost while meeting the performance intent.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- 3+ years of project management experience.
- Experience in field technology deployments and associated logistics is a must.
- A Bachelor’s (BA/BS) or master’s degree from an accredited institution in Business, Marketing or Engineering.
- Strong communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills, both internally and externally.
- Strong written, verbal and presentation skills.
- Strong time management, organizational and decision-making skills.
- Self-motivated and an ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a professional manner with contractors and clients.
- The ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Successful candidate will be expected to travel to job site and other sites as required.
- Possess the drive to succeed and to participate in the growth of an exciting, fast-paced company.
- Proven project leadership ability.
- Must be able to support, lead and manage a field-team.
- High level of proficiency of Project Management s/w e.g. MS Project.
- Provide periodic status reports, keeping project status transparent to management, escalate critical and urgent issues when necessary.
- Work cross-department to prioritize, ensure customer satisfaction and timely resolution of issues.
- Act as the “voice of the customer” for making recommendations to improve products, processes, and performance.
