Field Service Engineer, NMR Scientific Instrumentation– An excellent opportunity for an electronics engineer or a scientist to join a world-class laboratory equipment manufacturer and receive full training to work as a field service engineer on state of the art scientific systems –

The Role – Field Service Engineer, NMR Scientific InstrumentationThis market leader seeks to recruit a technically motivated and customer focused Field Service Engineer, responsible for the service, installation, repair and general maintenance of their range of highly advanced scientific systems at customer sites.Your Background – Field Service Engineer, NMR Scientific InstrumentationTo succeed in this exciting role you must be able to demonstrate:

  • Previous experience as a laboratory technician or scientist with a chemistry or physics background with experience of using Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy (NMR)
  • Or qualified to PhD level with expertise using NMR systems
  • Or as a Field Service Engineer working on a range of electronics or electro-mechanical systems
  • Ex-forces engineers with experience of repairing radar, weapons guidance or military electronics are encouraged to apply
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels with external customers and internal departments
