Throughout the placement, you will be an integral part of Stryker’s 2025 Cooperative cohort. Tasks and responsibilities may include:
- Together, with your Stryker team leader and college supervisor, identify a Finance improvement project along with project objectives, scope, success factors, milestones and evaluation
- Involvement in financial month end process (posting journals, reporting, liaising with our shared service center etc)
- Input into budgeting process through taking responsibility for budget inputs, working with the business to set the appropriate budgets and projections, and holding others accountable for performance against targets
- Forecasting on a quarterly, monthly, and weekly basis
- Assist the team in the tracking of capital spent and monitoring site spend and inventory movements
- Support compliance and internal/external audit activities
What you will need:
- Currently completing an Irish or Northern Irish university qualification in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or other related courses
- Honesty and integrity; must comply with the quality system, regulations, and company policies
- Self-motivated, flexible, and hardworking – enjoys working in a dynamic, fast and results orientated environment
- Reliable, dependable, and punctual
- Organised, focused, and capable of multi-tasking
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Basic level of PC skills required
- Is a team player and capable of working as part of a multi-disciplined team
To be eligible:
- Enrolled at an Irish or Northern Irish university for the duration of the cooperative placement
- Available for either 6, 9 or 12 months – exact duration and start date to be discussed with your Talent Acquisition Business Partner at Stryker
