This role is to be based in either London or Luxembourg.
As a Finance Manager, you’ll give us the visibility we need to drive Amazon forward. Finance teams are a constant adviser to the business. When our finances and programme performance are optimised, we can keep delivering an excellent experience for our customers and find new ways to support them. This role gives you the opportunity to see how we make business decisions as you gather all the insights that we need to shape our future.
This is a perfect position for someone who knows how to work fast and smart. The role is strategic, involving financial project management to drive medium to long term cost improvements. You will also provide the business with big leadership bringing a deep knowledge and a proven record of accomplishment. You already know how to make sense between which details that make all the difference, and those that don’t add value.
Job Responsibilities include:

Business partner with key stakeholders to improve performance of the UK Fresh businesses through developing and providing robust financial analysis and insight.

Collaborate on UK Fresh strategic topics / initiatives.

Manage UK Fresh hub and spoke network to optimize Variable and Fixed costs.

Support the planning processes and own the planning models for annual plans, quarterly guidance and long term strategic plans.

Deliver financial analysis to drive cost improvement initiatives.

Ensure financial controllership and manage month end close process.
Key Characteristics:

Proven expertise evaluating, analyzing quickly and creating meaningful business reporting

Proven ability to develop strategic relationships with your finance and business partners – you influence the decisions. You can root cause issues quickly and uncover core issues using data, then assist, consult with, and teach the teams how decisions affect efficiency, scalability, costs and create new mechanisms as they are needed

Proven ability to deal with ambiguity & provide level-headed guidance during unexpected events
Basic Qualifications

A degree in Finance, Mathematics, Economics, or another relevant field

Relevant experience in a finance role including partnering with a variety of stakeholders across the business

Relevant experience working with Excel and large-scale data mining and reporting tools such as Python, SQL or Tableau

Relevant experience in financial modelling

Advanced or master’s degree in finance, economics or mathematics, such as a CA, CMA, CWA or MBA

Experience working in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment

Experience working in large teams or at a national/multinational organisation

Experience communicating complex information and solutions to senior stakeholders and influence decisions
