About the Role
The Finance Systems Manager plays a pivotal role in the design and delivery of Finance application services. This includes Finance and accounting management system, card present and card-not-present payments systems, banking systems and business intelligence reporting services. Working closely with the Head of Enterprise Systems develop strategies for the further development and exploitation of Finance systems ensuring alignment with college strategic aims.Some of the key success factors for this role include:

  • Building and maintaining close links with Finance department.
  • Delivering a quality experience across all Finance applications.
  • Ensuring a rigorous approach to the security of Finance systems and data.
  • Identifying emerging technology trends that will add to the staff experience and making plans for their adoption and integration.
  • Managing the Identification and development of new ways to exploit, link and deliver the varied sources of data contained within enterprise applications.
  • Developing and implementing information architectures and supporting Finance systems.

About You
You will be educated to degree level in IT or equivalent with project management qualifications, e.g. PRINCE2, MSP, Agile or equivalent experience. You should have a working knowledge of Unit4 ERP financial system, ideally in a cloud environment.About the School/Department/Institute/Project
