We are searching for a meticulous Financial Analyst to join our client in Mississauga, Ontario. In this role, your primary focus will be on financial reporting, planning, and analysis. Collaborating with both internal and external parties, you will be entrusted with the task of ensuring accurate financial records, assisting with the preparation of annual operating plans, and performing value-add analysis.Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the formulation of annual operating plans and mid-year forecasts.

• Construct profitability models for pharmacy and clinic operations, contributing to value-add analysis.

• Provide support in the review and management of new business opportunities, considering their financial implications.

• Assist in the month-end reporting process, including balance sheet reconciliations and preparation of consolidated financial statements.

• Collaborate with the business to prepare necessary analysis and support the development and interpretation of key metrics and KPIs.

• Apply your business acumen to foster a culture of continuous improvement, implementing process and job efficiencies.

• Act as a subject matter expert in special projects as needed.

• Undertake other job-related duties and projects as required to support the position.

• Use accounting software systems to maintain accurate financial records.

• Employ data mining techniques and financial metrics to maximize profitability.

• Participate in budget processes and month-end close activities.

• Ensure compliance with IFRS – International Financial Reporting Standards.

• Conduct financial planning and analysis (FP& A) as per business requirements.

• Perform balance sheet reconciliation to ensure accurate financial statements.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role as a Financial Analyst

• Proficient in Accounting Software Systems to manage and process financial data

• Ability to utilize Data Mining Techniques to extract and analyze financial data

• Solid understanding of Budget Processes to manage resources effectively

• Proven experience in Financial Reporting to communicate financial status to stakeholders

• Familiarity with Financial Planning & Analysis (FP& A) to predict financial outcomes

• Ability to strategize to Maximize Profitability for the organization

• Experience in Month End Close procedures to ensure accurate financial records

• Expertise in Balance Sheet Reconciliation to maintain accuracy in financial statements

• Strong grasp of Financial Metrics to measure financial health of the company

• Knowledge of IFRS – Intl Financial Reporting Stds to ensure compliance with international regulations
