Our client a fast growing family own business is looking for a Financial Analyst for their group of companies to support the director of finance. As the financial analyst, you will oversee the month-end process and the reconciliation of accounts & bank accounts for the group of companies. Our client is a well-established North American company with clients all over Canada and the US. This is a dynamic environment that offer an opportunity for grow.This position is 100% on site for the first 3months and then offers some flexibility**Only local candidates will be considered. Oversee the general ledger and subledgers( Ap/Ar ) through the month end process and balancing, activities ( incl. bank) ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
Prepare and analyze the consolidated financial statements to provide actionable insights to management.
Drive month-end and year-end close processes with meticulous attention to detail while coordinating with external auditors.
Develop and maintain analysis and key indicators of the business financial performance.
Actively participate in the financial planning , budget and analysis process.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial workflows , improve efficiency and internal controls.
Ensure the regulatory reports with government authorities are done and submitted on a timely basis
Obtain and collect data to maintain up to date the accounting systems and financial transaction as requiredQualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or better
CPA is preferred
3-5 years experience in a full cycle role
Bilingual ( FR-Eng ) (Strong english required)
Experience with an ERP (NetSuite, Xero, Dynamics, etc..)
