Robert Half is seeking a committed Financial Analyst to join a growing company. Some of your responsibilities in this role include running financial modeling on a number of financial products and measuring, analyzing, and forecasting performance in conjunction with operating plans. We will give you the responsibilities to advise management on the allocation of resources to best accomplish objectives and prepare reports for management. You will join a dynamic team as a key business partner in areas including forecasting, performance reporting, and expense management. This Financial Analyst role is based in the Mississsauga, Ontario, area and is a short-term contract / contract employment opportunity. We seek someone who has internal drive and strong potential for detail oriented growth and development.What you get to do every single day– Understand and communicate internal and external drivers impacting performance and trending– Assess potential risks and opportunities and research performance– Facilitate effective Business Intelligence (BI) to provide forward-looking insight and decision support– Adaptable individual experienced in analyzing large amounts of information and managing expectations– Own monthly reporting to business partners on financial results and actions required– Watch over annual performance by comparing actual results to their expectations– Complete and direct forecasting reports– Authenticate routine Area/Segment-level Bookings and P& L forecasting– Support contacts in Accounting and Operations to execute business plans– Work with Accounting on the monthly and quarterly financial close process
– Financial analysis experience required– Proven knowledge of month end closings– Comprehensive knowledge of Accounting Functions– Strong familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central– Financial reconciliation experience– Account reconciliation experience preferred– Prior experience in Spreadsheet and ERP system– Demonstrated ability to build and deliver effective presentations to audiences with wide-ranging backgrounds– BA/BS degree in finance or a related field– Financial planning & analysis (go-to-market experience favored)– Background in problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets highly valued (such as in derivatives, structured finance, or business analytics or in a similarly demanding and analytical role)– Strong communication and social skills and able to receive criticism well– Eager problem-solver who listens for customer cues and actively resolves problems with grace and integrity– Experience with financial data management processes & systems, e.g. Oracle/Hyperion/SAP Business Objects/SFDC/TableauRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
