Financial Analyst in Irvine, California

Description We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for a Financial Analyst in Irvine, California. As a Financial Analyst, you will be crucial in preparing budgets, performing variance analysis, and maintaining a strong understanding of financial statements. Your role will involve using Excel for budgeting and forecasting without the need for a complex FP& A system.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare budgets accurately and efficiently multiple times a year.

• Use Excel for budgeting and forecasting tasks.

• Perform variance analysis to identify and explain differences in budgeted and actual figures.

• Maintain a thorough understanding of financial statements to assist in financial decision-making.

• Utilize strong budgeting and forecasting skills to predict future financial trends.

• Manage cash flow forecasts to maintain financial stability.

• Utilize accounting software systems such as NetSuite to maintain financial records.

• Analyze financial statements to provide insights into the company’s financial status.

• Maintain spreadsheets for record keeping and data analysis purposes.

• Carry out various accounting functions to support the company’s financial operations. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Financial Analyst or in a similar role

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required

• Demonstrated understanding of Accounting Functions

• Proven experience with Variance Analysis

• Strong skills in Budgeting are necessary

• Experience in Budgeting and Forecasting is preferred

• Ability to generate accurate Cash Flow Forecasts

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel is a must

• Comfortable working with Spreadsheets and large datasets

• Ability to Analyze Financial Statements effectively

• Experience with NetSuite software is a plus
