Working closely with the FP& A Manager, the Financial Analyst will play an important role in providing accurate and timely analytics, reports, and insightful observations to managers and executives of the property, to increase efficiency and effectiveness and maximize company success.

Core Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare financial analysis as directed by management to include daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly standard management reports through analytics, reporting, and project management.

  • Prepare reports to monitor market trends including key competitors.

  • Maintain and improve efficient data sourcing procedures and data repositories.

  • Prepare ad hoc and non-recurring reports, graphs, and metrics.

  • Analyze financial results and monitor divisional spending in accordance with budget and annual strategic plan.

  • Provide assistance in budget preparation, forecasting, financial analyses, and productivity/labor analysis.

  • Ability to promote positive, fair, and ethical relations with all team members, and business partners.

  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.

  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions, and ability to communicate recommendations based on the data.

  • Collaborate with functional leaders to standardize monthly financial reviews and establish a comprehensive forecasting and budgeting process.

  • Perform other duties that may be assigned.

    Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or above in a related field or equivalent experience required.

  • Minimum 3 years of financial experience preferred.

  • Must obtain a Nevada Gaming License.

  • Requires proficiency in Microsoft Office specifically Outlook, Word, Excel, & PowerPoint. Mastery of Excel required.

  • Candidate must have experience with financial planning, analytics, or project management.

  • Must possess outstanding organizational, interpersonal, and administrative skills, as well as excellent attention to detail.
