About the Opportunity

• Prepare periodic reports analyzing the results for internal distribution to assist management in the understanding of financial results;
• Prepare the consolidated financial statements;
• Assist with technical IFRS guidance, analysis of accounting transactions, and preparation of memos and supporting schedules;
• Support the tax function with preparation of quarterly and annual tax provision working papers and associated analytics;
• Supports the corporate tax department on an as needed basis on government tax audits
• Assist with preparation and review of earnings releases, regulatory filings, and supporting schedules for note disclosures;
• Leverage technology and effectively use information systems and tools to generate reports to increase automation and reduce manual inputs;
• Maintain an effective internal control environment;
• Make recommendations for business process and improvements;
• Maintain a positive working relationship with external and internal auditors;
• Other duties and tasks as necessary.

About You

• CPA completed or in progress
• 2-5 years of experience within Public Accounting or related industry
• Systems experience including consolidation systems, SAP, Workiva would be an asset

Salary Range
