As a Financial Planning Assistant, you will provide administrative support to growth opportunities. You’ll build strong working relationships and have a meaningful impact on clients and their financial success.At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You can effectively perform all work activities remotely, and will only be required to be on-site on an occasional basis.How you’ll succeed

  • Client Engagement – Leverage your knowledge of cash management, investment and wealth protection to assist with planning activities with your Financial Planning Consultants to help clients meet their financial goals.
  • Problem Solving – Listen, ask questions, and put yourself in the client’s shoes. Act like an owner by taking accountability for partner support, and know when to lean on others to find solutions.
  • Organizational Skills – Prepare client files, maintaining schedules, ensure compliance. Enable team success by improving team productivity and proactively uncovering business opportunities.
  • Business Development – Proactively identify business opportunities for your team. Work closely with Investment Advisors to support business development activities and assist in the building of investment plans based on the client’s profile, goals, and risk/reward tolerance.
  • Relationship Building – Heighten CIBC brand awareness in your community by attending local events and participating in marketing and outreach activities. Grow your network to create lasting connections that will generate future opportunities.
