Manager, Corporate Reporting
Mississauga
3 Month ContractWe are seeking an individual with a strong public company reporting and a superior technical accounting background for our Mississauga client. The successful candidate will support the company’s consolidated financial close and disclosure process, perform qualitative and quantitative analysis, and manage other critical tasks. This role demands the ability to efficiently work under pressure, meet stringent deadlines, and present reports to the senior management when required.
Responsibilities:

• Manage the monthly global financial statement process.
• Ensure timely delivery of the quarterly and annual financial statements and management’s discussions & analysis.
• Complete and oversee reports to regulatory bodies, investment accounting, share-based compensation calculations.
• Handle special projects such as debt and equity finance deals.
• Research and provide guidance on the accounting treatment of new business strategic initiatives.
• Identify and put into practice best finance function practices.
• Required on site 3 days a week minimum.

Key Qualifications:

• A CPA, CA qualification or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in finance, inclusive of accounting policies and consolidation.
• Experience in financial services is a plus
• Strong understanding of IFRS and MD& A experience is required.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to learn quickly and work independently.
• Background in public accounting and experience with public audit
