Food Tech Teacher – BrightonJanuary 2025Pay – £115 – £250Location – Hastings, East SussexContract – Full time, part time availableAbout the School:Supply Desk are working with a popular and highly-rated secondary school in the Hastings area, known for its strong attainment across Key Stages and its pleasant culture of respect and inclusivity. They are seeking to appoint a committed and passionate Teacher of Food Technology to deliver enthusiastic and engaging and enriching lessons. This role is long-term and full-time, with a view for the right candidate to turn permanent.About the role:The role is a full-time opportunity, providing lessons in Food Technology at Key Stages 3 and 4, contributing to the school’s excellent academic performance. Your lessons will deliver on the National Curriculum and the school’s proven teaching framework. Dedicated time for planning and marking is also provided. The school are looking for someone with thorough and up-to-date subject knowledge, good classroom management and a positive approach to teaching and building relationships.The ideal candidate will:

• Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant subject. A recognised teaching qualification is a plus.
• Have recent experience teaching in UK Schools
• Be a committed team player
• Proven track record of high attainment in results
• Be confident and engaging when delivering lesson content
• Have strong classroom management and rapport-building skills
• Enthusiastic in contributing to the wider school community in and out of the classroom
