22498We’re looking for an experienced and ambitious Resource Mobilisation and Strategy Manager to join our team and help Footwork to realise its vision of ‘a world free of Podoconiosis’. The successful candidate will have proven experience of working in international development, of designing and delivering a strategic plan, as well as transferable experience of securing sustainable funding from a range of partners. With some experience of managing international events, you will work as part of an inter-disciplinary international team to deliver Footwork’s mission: ‘to improve the lives of individuals and communities affected by podoconiosis by bringing together public and private partnerships to accelerate treatment and prevention’.The successful candidate will work within the Global Health Infection (GHI) department at the Brighton and Sussex Medical School (BSMS). The GHI department runs a world class research programme with academic links around the world via the Centre for Global Health Research, with a dedicated area being multidisciplinary research on three Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs). Podoconiosis is one of those Neglected Tropical Diseases which is a key focus for the department and its partners.
