In addition to its four undergraduate degree programs, KSR also offers Masters degrees, a suite of graduate certificates, and a world-class PhD program.PositionThe Faculty of Kinesiology, Sport, and Recreation at the University of Alberta is accepting applications for one full-time career status Academic Teaching Staff position (Rank, Assistant Teaching Professor) that will include 80% Teaching and Teaching Related Activities, 10% Service, and 10% Research. Teaching topics and areas of expertise specific to this position include Anatomy, Human Gross Anatomy, Physiology of Exercise, Clinical Exercise Physiology, Assessment of Fitness and Health, Applied Resistance and/or Endurance Training, Biological Aspects of Fitness and Health, and Health Education.This position requires primarily in-person teaching and teaching-related activities, on the University Campus, to facilitate students’ learning and progress through their degree program as well as the operational needs of the Faculty.Term Length: Career PositionDesired Start Date: April 1, 2025 (to be negotiated with the successful candidate). The successful candidate may be required to teach in the Spring 2025 term.DutiesTeaching and Teaching Related Activities (80%):
