Unit: Faculty of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Salary: £20,780 stipend + allocated research training budget Location: Please quote reference: PhD Studentship at The School of Physical Sciences Closing Date: 09 April, 2025 – 17:00Project Title: Demonstration of Deterministic QC with one clean qubit (DQC1) on a neutral atom array.This full time, fully-funded studentship is available from 1 October 2025 with duration of 3.5 years.Further details about this project can be found here:The studentship covers fees and includes a stipend of £20,780 per annum (2025-2026 rate). The grant also includes an additional allocated research training budget.To be eligible for funding, applicants must meet the UKRI academic requirements. We normally require candidates to have at least a 2:1 at UK BSc or MSc.
