Join Our Team as a fundraising consultant for the European Individual Giving Program!
Are you passionate about animal protection and have working experience in the German Market? HSI is looking for a dynamic FUNDRAISING CONSULTANT to contribute to developing and strengthening the fundraising programme in Germany for acquiring and maintaining donors (with a special focus on regular givers)!
Some basic info on the role :
- Part-time, minimum 15 days per month or 20 hours per week, September 2024-December 2024, preferably longer.
- Candidate should be based in the EU, preferably in Germany.
- Consultancy basis.
What Will You Do?
- Contribute to the overall strategy providing examples and benchmarks from the German market, offering a steer for the growth and consolidation of all active marketing channels in the market (DRTV, telemarketing, direct mail, digital acquisition and email marketing).
- Produce timelines, project plan and schedules of work, ensure they are delivered to time and scope of work.
- Participates to silent listening sessions with telemarketing agencies, producing appropriate feedback.
- Manage import and export files for telemarketing and DRTV campaigns.
- Manage import and export files for direct mailing.
- Collaborates with supporter care service to foster the relationship with donors and increase the life time value.
Who Are We Looking For?
An individual with:
- A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in small gifts fundraising or direct marketing.
- Working knowledge of German and preferably Italian markets as they relate to charitable giving; understanding of markets and sectors and ability to align these to strategic programmes of work.
- Experience working with complex data is essential.
- Must be a professional consultant fiscally registered in the EU, with Companies House or similar (VAT number)
- Will be required to sign a conflicts of interest declaration and non disclosure agreement.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German with the ability to produce written material to a high standard on tight deadlines, and a good level of English.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills and the ability to prioritize.
- Good knowledge of animal protection issues preferred but not required.

The gross renumeration for this role will be from € 20,000 to € 30,000 (5,000-7,500 € gross per month, all included). It is estimated a part-time effort, on a daily basis (min. 4 hours per day) or on a weekly basis (min. 20 hours per week).
