GSL Education is excited to partner with a wonderful primary school in Ferndown, currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic General Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team. If you are passionate about making a difference in children’s education and creating a positive learning environment, we want to hear from you!The Role:As a General Teaching Assistant in this primary school, you will play an essential role in supporting the classroom teacher and helping children reach their full potential. You’ll be assisting with lesson preparation, helping students with their tasks, supporting small group activities, and offering one-to-one support where needed.Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the planning and delivery of engaging lessons
• Support students in their academic and social development
• Provide tailored support to children with different learning needs
• Help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Work closely with teachers to ensure all students receive the support they need
• Uphold the values of the school and promote positive behavior

What We’re Looking For:

• A caring and proactive individual who genuinely wants to make a difference in the lives of children
• Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or within a primary school setting (desirable)
• A strong understanding of the primary curriculum
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with staff, students, and parents
• A commitment to promoting inclusivity and equal opportunities for all children
• A passion for supporting young learners and fostering their growth
