Job Title: Geography Teacher
Location: Rotherham, S60
Pay Rate: £155 – £220 per day
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long-term | Full-time / Part-timeAre you a passionate and knowledgeable Geography Teacher ready to inspire students and bring the world to life in the classroom?GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Geography Teacher to join schools in the Rotherham (S60) area immediately. This role provides the opportunity to deliver engaging lessons, develop students’ geographical understanding, and foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.Responsibilities as a Geography Teacher:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Geography lessons in line with the curriculum.
  • Inspire pupils to develop knowledge and understanding of physical and human geography.
  • Encourage critical thinking, research, and analytical skills through practical and interactive lessons.
  • Support pupils’ academic, social, and personal development.
  • Maintain high standards of classroom management and pupil behaviour.
  • Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school leadership to enhance learning outcomes.

Requirements for Geography Teacher:

  • UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is mandatory.
  • Strong knowledge of Geography concepts and the national curriculum.
  • Excellent classroom management, organisational, and communication skills.
  • Enthusiasm, creativity, and the ability to engage and inspire students.
  • An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
  • A CV covering the last 10 years of employment history, with any gaps explained.
