• Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality geography lessons that meet the needs of students and the curriculum requirements.
• Create a positive and engaging learning environment that fosters a love for geography among students.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support for improvement.
• Differentiate instruction to cater to the needs of individual students, ensuring all students have equal opportunities to succeed.
• Collaborate with other teachers and school staff to develop integrated curriculum plans and cross-curricular initiatives.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, behaviour, and academic performance.
• Establish and maintain effective communication with parents, keeping them informed of student progress and addressing any concerns or queries.

Requirements

• Qualified teacher status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
• A degree in Geography or a related field.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of the national curriculum and assessment requirements.
• Experience teaching geography at the primary or secondary level.
• Ability to create engaging and differentiated lesson plans to cater to diverse student needs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and contribute to the school community.
• A passion for education and a commitment to supporting the academic and personal development of students.
