- Plan and deliver engaging and comprehensive Geography lessons according to the curriculum
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters students’ learning and growth
- Assess and evaluate students’ progress through various forms of assessment
- Provide constructive feedback and support to students to help them achieve their academic goals
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies and resources
- Maintain accurate records of students’ attendance, behaviour, and academic performance
- Attend staff meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and other school events as required
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Geography or a related field
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification
- Proven experience teaching Geography at the primary or secondary level
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the Geography curriculum
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning
