  • Teach engaging and challenging German lessons to students at all levels, from beginners to A-Level.

  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing targeted support to help them excel.
  • Organise and participate in extracurricular activities, such as language clubs, exchange programs, and study trips to German-speaking countries.
  • Work collaboratively within the Modern Foreign Languages department to refine and enhance the curriculum.

About YouTo be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in German, Modern Foreign Languages, or a related subject.
  • A recognised teaching qualification with QTS (PGCE or equivalent).
  • Experience teaching German across KS3 to KS5, with a strong track record of student achievement.
  • A passion for inspiring young learners and fostering a love for languages.
  • Strong organisational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage students in their learning journey.
