In this role, you will play a key part in the coordination of export and import compliance activities within the organization.   • Perform Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) classifications and country of origin analysis
  • Free Trade Agreement analysis and qualifications
  • Assist with inquiries related to import compliance activities
  • Be current with changes in customs regulations and ensure the company’s adherence to global trade requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address customs-related issues and implement effective solutions
  • Facilitate communication with customs authorities and provide require information
  • Comply with all safety regulations and company policies, promoting a culture of safety and ensuring a safe working environment
  • Share in the commitment towards a positive workplace culture

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Completion of Bachelor Degree/Certificate in Business Administration or International Business, or equivalent training or work experience
  • Minimum two years of work experience in the export/import of goods and material in Canada
  • Comprehensive knowledge of customs regulations and procedures is an asset
  • Highly effective communications skills
  • Highly motivated with a demonstrated positive attitude
  • Willingness to learn and acquire knowledge/understanding through study, instruction or experience
