Job Description
The Global Knowledge Management Specialist takes ownership of the knowledge within a given knowledge base, ensuring quality, accuracy and relevance (life cycle management). This role focuses on ensuring that information, documentation, and best practices are effectively maintained and accessible to enhance day-to-day efficiency and collaboration across the organization. The specialist will work closely with key stakeholders to manage content in our knowledge bases and to facilitate a global community of knowledge base owners in our regional hubs.

Job Responsibilities

Article Approval: Review and approve created knowledge articles before publishing, ensuring quality, accuracy and completeness.

Monitor Quality: Proactively monitor the knowledge dashboard to identify and address quality issues.

Article Maintenance and Improvement: Manage content lifecycle, including taxonomy development, metadata tagging, and archiving. Additionally supporting the improvement of existing knowledge articles to ensure quality, consistency, and relevance.

Process Alignment: Ensure knowledge articles align with current and future processes. This involves retiring or adjusting both global and local knowledge articles to reflect new global “to-be” processes.

Collaboration: Work closely with Global Process Owners or other HR Subject Matter Experts to review and ensure alignment on content changes.

Promote a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning within the organization.

Evaluate the effectiveness of knowledge management initiatives and make recommendations for improvements.

Leverage technology platforms (e.g. Intranet, knowledge bases, SharePoint, etc.) to enhance knowledge accessibility and end user experience.
Background & Skills
-
Bachelor’s degree in in a related field is required.
-
Experience in knowledge management, information management, or a similar role.
-
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
-
Proficiency with knowledge management platforms and content management systems.
-
Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
-
Ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and organizational levels.

Experience in change management and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with emerging knowledge management technologies, including artificial intelligence and machine learning tools.

Experience in project management or business process improvement.

Experience working in a global environment collaborating across time zones

High proficiency in Sharepoint

Experience working with ServiceNow
