As a testament to its excellence and influence, the firm actively fosters strategic global partnerships, continuously setting benchmarks in quality and industry standards.Job SummaryLead/Staff Scientist Life Cycle Assessment is expected to have demonstrated expertise in estimating the LCA of various products including Ammonia, Urea and Enhanced Urea from Cradle to Grave. Exposure to preparation of various product specific ISO compliant method documents, GHG protocol methodologies. Demonstrated expertise on working with various certification agencies Provide technology solution to improve energy consumption, water utilization in commercial plants in carbon efficient manner as needed. The LCA technologist is required to support in Growth Projects and evaluate energy efficiency, carbon footprint of multiple designs of low carbon ammonia and urea plants, support the project team to select the most efficient technology.Key Responsibilities:
- Provide directions and energy, carbon footprint assessment leading to optimum technology selection for low carbon Ammonia, urea development, and technology configuration of the process.
- Conceptualize, design, implement, and continuously develop life cycle assessment and CO2 footprint calculation of products.
- Prepare product-specific, ISO-compliant method documents for the calculation of life cycle assessments and CO2 footprints of products.
- Independently collect, analyze, and evaluate technical data for project execution, such as energy consumption, efficiencies, or raw material usage.
- Review Engineering Documents and steer energy balance for optimum technology selection in terms of LCA footprint.
- Support the certification of new products with the calculation of life cycle assessments and CO2 footprints of products with recognized certification bodies.
- Actively collaborate and execute projects with a focus on life cycle assessments, carbon footprint calculations, and environmental impact mitigation opportunities.
- Actively contribute to the safety culture, coach young employees, and initiate new programs.
Requirements:
- This role required candidate to permanently relocate at Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
- Masters or PhD is preferred.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in dealing with LCA assessment, carbon footprint assessment, certification processes, and technology selection.
- Strategic thinking and planning abilities.
- Leadership skills to work with and influence highly talented individuals from diverse disciplines and cultures.
- Ability to create, foster, and drive a culture of innovation.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Highly self-motivated.
